After leaving college, our Pastry Chef, Kristin Sebel, knew exactly where to go. She applied and was accepted to the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in Chicago. After her 2 year education she received a degree in International Baking and Patisserie Arts. She soon found herself in an internship position at Vanille Patisserie under the direction of Dimitri Fayard in Chicago. Mr. Fayard was named one of the top 10 pastry Chefs in America in 2008. This really speaks to the level of skill and care you will recieve when you order your cake from Kristin. Kristin is comfortable working with all edible mediums. Her buttercream is as smooth as glass, her sugar and gum paste flowers look like the real thing and her fondant is rolled out to smooth perfection. She is able to create a whimsical design or a classical or contemporary masterpiece.
